From the photo class in high school that never made it into my schedule, to the graduate school work mid-career, I have always appreciated the world of images and image making. I can credit my many teachers, both the in-person kind, and the masters whose work we find in books, galleries and museums, for helping me to appreciate the visual connections and relationships that can bring real meaning into image making.
Photography owes its very being to light, so to all the masters of camera and observers of light out there, my hat is off to you!
